Start or Join a Meeting – Launch Zoom and either start or join the meeting where you’re the current host.

Open Participants Panel – At the bottom of the Zoom window, click on “Participants” to open the list of people in the meeting.

Find the New Host – Scroll through the list and hover over the name of the person you want to make host.

Click “More” – Next to their name, click the “More” button (three dots).

Select “Make Host” – From the dropdown menu, click on “Make Host.”

Confirm the Transfer – A confirmation box will pop up. Click “Yes” to transfer host privileges.

New Host Now in Control – That participant now becomes the host, with full meeting controls.

Optional – Reclaim Host (If Needed) – If you're a co-host and need to take back control, the new host can make you host again using the same steps.
