How to Use Zoom Whiteboard

This guide provides a step-by-step process on how to schedule and add events to the Zoom Whiteboard feature. Following these instructions will help you efficiently set up and manage your Zoom Whiteboard sessions.

  1. Open Zoom and Start a Meeting โ€“ Launch the Zoom app on your desktop or mobile, then start or join a meeting.

  2. Click on โ€œShare Screenโ€ โ€“ In the bottom toolbar, tap the green โ€œShare Screenโ€ button.

  3. Select โ€œWhiteboardโ€ โ€“ From the available options, click on โ€œWhiteboardโ€ and then hit the โ€œShareโ€ button.

  4. Use Annotation Tools โ€“ Once the whiteboard opens, youโ€™ll see tools like draw, text, spotlight, eraser, and shapes on the toolbar. Start sketching or writing!

  5. Collaborate in Real-Time โ€“ All participants (if allowed) can draw or write on the same whiteboard in real time.

  6. Save the Whiteboard โ€“ Click on the โ€œSaveโ€ icon (usually a floppy disk symbol) to download the current whiteboard as a PNG or PDF.

  7. Stop Sharing When Done โ€“ After the session, click โ€œStop Shareโ€ at the top of the screen to exit the whiteboard mode.

  8. Access Whiteboards Later (Zoom Whiteboard Feature) โ€“ If using Zoomโ€™s new Whiteboard feature (via Zoom One), go to zoom.us/whiteboard to create, save, and access whiteboards outside meetings.
